2012 Regular Legislative Session Day 35

[Resent id=17385027 2012-02-12 20:17:40 from davidtaylor] Finally a day off. After spending 36 hours out of 65 hours on the House Floor, we're off today. Tomorrow is going to be another long day, but House of Origin Cutoff is Tuesday at 5:00 PM. We start back into committee work on Wednesday to consider Senate Bills. I'm really looking forward to next wekeend when Molly and Tiffany get here.

There's not a whole lot more to report on today. I've got to review a striking amendment to the Washington Voting Rights Act of 2012 before Monday morning. Don't let the title fool you, this is a very bad bill aimed directly at Yakima, that will cost the taxpayers millions of dollars. We will be fighting this bill with everything we have.

Other than that, it's a laundry, shopping and TV day.
