Post from at CHUM.LY

I'm off to Southwest WA this morning to meet with three of our candidates. All three are doing a great job going into the General Election and should bring 2 additional seats to the Republican Caucus.

Israel prepping for war with Iran?

Could this be the October surprise? We all need to remember an International Incident in late September or October will change the election dynamics for many, many races.

Seriously, the US is facing massive unemployment, incredible budget deficits and out of control spending at all levels of government. Instead of spending billions in other countries, how about we keep the money, not spend it and buy down our debt?

Wow, what a weekend! Molly and I had the pleasure of attending the Washington State Trappers Association annual meeting on Saturday. We had a wonderful time, learned a lot about trapping issues, learned even more about trapping equipment, and met a lot of really great people. We want to thank the WSTA for a wonderful experience.

ICRWA - Legislative Principles

 icrwa.com/Principle.html

I've been asked by a lot of people why we don't have a Contract with Washington. Well, in case you missed my post last week there is .. just follow this link.

I spent yesterday (Wednesday) listening to the WA Department of Fish and Wildlife and US Fish and Wildlife Services explain why they need to continue to purchase land throughout Washington. I'm still trying to piece it all together, but the agencies responses included things like "internationally significant species", "internationally significant habitat" and "corridors important for habitat linkage".

Stay tuned there will be a lot more on this.

It's another beautiful morning here in the Moxee Valley. We've got a busy couple of days, highlighted by the Klickitat County Fair and Rodeo parade on Saturday. I've got a couple of meetings today and am hauling calves to the Zillah pasture this morning.

"Government neither creates nor assigns rights and obligations, its sole function is the protection of those rights via the powers afforded it in the Constitution." - James Madison

Think about this when the next bailout is proposed. Our government has gotten very good at creating rights and obligations ... We the People need to put that to an end.

Have a great day all!

It's been a crazy couple of days. The primary election results are very promising and show our incumbents are doing very well across the state. In addition, Republicans candidates have an opportunity to win in 19 additional districts.

"We, the people, elect leaders not to rule but to serve." - President Eisenhower

It's time"We the People" remind the Democrats in Olympia and Washington DC who they serve. Now is the time, now is the place to return government to its Constitutional limits.

The Primary Election is over and I want to thank everyone for their support. We had a great showing at almost 66% of the vote and I am honored to have the voters trust. We still have work to do between today and the General Election ... it's time to get to work.

Let's send a message to Olympia and the establishment. We will not stop, we will not relax and we will not relent. We have the momentum and "We the People" will retake what is rightfully ours.

It's a beautiful morning here in the Moxee Valley. We had a very long, extended weekend, but we accomplished a lot. We had two parades, finished all of our 2nd cutting of hay, delivered cows and bulls to a rodeo, weaned calves, and fixed a lot of fence.

I hope everyone has a great day.

Looks to be a busy day here in the Moxee Valley ... already had to put cows back in a pasture and fix a fence. Grandview parade tonight, Sunnyside Republican Club tomorrow morning, Realtor PAC function tomorrow night, and Skamania County Fair parade on Saturday. Mix in sorting calves tomorrow in Sunnyside and getting a load of steers and bulls ready for a rodeo on Saturday just for a little extra fun.

What a weekend here in the Moxee Valley. The Hop Festival was great on Friday, Saturday's parade was fantastic, Molly's class reunion was a great time, and Ellensburg tonight for dinner with my family.. Add in hauling cattle to a rodeo, picking up hay, sorting cows, weaning calves, and an assortment of general "little" jobs and you have a weekend with little time for sleep or relaxation.

Good morning friends and neighbors. It's another beautiful day in the Moxee Valley. After several busy days, things have finally slowed down enough to enjoy the simple things in life. We'll be in Olympia tomorrow for an HROC Event and back at it on Tuesday.
