It's another busy day here in the Moxee Valley. Our first load of calves are headed to the sale this morning ... let's hope the price stays good. I'm playing in the Yakima Association of Realtors golf tournament today, which is always a great time. We might go up to Ellensburg tomorrow night for the high school football game against East Valley, but still haven't decided for certain. Saturday we're in Bingen for the Huckleberry Festival Parade and I'll be in the Sheriff's Dunk Tank from 12:30 to 1:00 PM to help raise money for the help raise money for their Toys for Tots program. Sunday we'll be in Dallesport for the TEA Party from 2:00 to 4:00 PM.

The Labor Day weekend marks the end of summer and is always filled with much to do. We sent a load of cattle to a rodeo yesterday and Molly went to Ellensburg to watch the rodeo. Today looks to be slow day for us, but we'll be at the Wapato Harvest Festival tomorrow for the parade.
I just got word from a friend who's having their Annual Horse Sale on September 18th. If anyone is looking for a young horse with great breeding, you should check this sale out. www.promised-land-ranch.com.

Throughout the campaign season, I encourage everyone to ask candidates what their vision is for the future of Washington State and the Nation. We need to get beyond the simple tag lines of "smaller government", "lower taxes" and "common sense". These are all great, but how will we accomplish it. Our leaders must put forth a plan to return to the Constitutional principles this Country and Washington State were founded upon.

It looks like the weather over the Labor Day Weekend will be very nice. Looking for something to do, check out Wapato's Harvest Festival parade Monday morning or head up to Ellensburg for the Fair and world famous Rodeo. It's the last weekend of the summer, so have some fun with friends and family.

It's another great morning in the Moxee Valley. We'll be out at Rosauers Friday (tomorrow) to see all the cattle producers and taste some really great BBQ. Monday we have the Wapato parade and a week from Saturday we have the Huckleberry Festival parade in Bingen.
